"ORIENTATION WORKSHOP ON THE UTILIZATION OF VIDEO LESSONS AND PROTOTYPE LESSON PLANS IN SCIENCE I" conducted here in Consolacion NHS, July 15, 2006. DepEd-Cebu Division ESI in Science, Mrs . Leonida T. Lofranco, heads the team.

The program started on or about 8:00 in the morning with a Doxology using multi-media as well as the playing of the National Anthem. Words of welcome was done by Mr. Carmelito M. Lauron, Sr. for in behalf of Ms. Adelina P. Semblante who then attended a very important undertaking. A trainer from Sibonga NHS, in the person of Mrs. Anselma Undalok, gave the RATIONALE, followed by the presentation of participants by Mrs. Clarissa Belarmino, a trainer from Badian NHS. ESI in Secondary Science, Mrs. Leonida T. Lofranco, gave her fruitful and challenging message. During her speech, she emphasized the maximum usage of all science equipments plus the 2 CD's & a brand new prototype LP in Science I.

"ANYWAY", was the title of the FOOD FOR THOUGHT done by Mrs. Esterliosa Tagalog, the Asst. Guidance Counselor & Biology teacher of Consolacion NHS-EC.

A VIP from Japan in the person of TETSU YAMAGUCHI, presented a video of an observed class from Talisay City Division, and informed everyone about a program that he & the DepEd-Cebu are still ironing out.

The whole affair of the day was hosted by a trainer from Casay NHS, Dr. Imelda Canoy.

Shaky moments:

Before we started the program, everything was running very well, but when the host called for a doxology, it was then that our TV unit failed. However, during the morning break we manage to replace the TV unit from Computer Lab II with the help of some male participants. WE did it ANYWAY. Thanks everyone!

The Consolacion NHS administrator in the person of Mrs. Adelina P. Semblante, Principal II, heartily expressing her  profound gratitude to the LGU for their unending support to the school in all undertakings.

This 15 Pc's from the LGU, plus  1 PC from Hon. Alfie Ouano and of course plus 1 PC from the PTCA under the leadership of Hon. Arnolfo Aurelio A. Abinales, which will be used as Computer Lab II Server, will be taken-cared of & managed by Mr. Dioscoro M. Andrino, Master Teacher I.

This afternoon of April 22, 2005 after our database training at DepEd-Cebu IT Training Center, at about 5pm. when I reach home, it was then I realized that I lost 6pcs of my kiddy chairs which was placed at the back of my car that was parked at the ICT Training Center.

      Immediately I called Mr. Jobette Escobaņas, ICT Training Director, who then very cooperative in going to the ground floor to verify from the guard on-duty the incident, but the news is not good.

     It came to my mind that the venue of our ICT Training Center is really NOT safe.

     Let us always be vigilant to our personal properties . . .
