CNHS grabs awards

            Consolacion National High School grabbed awards during the Municipal Level STEP Skills Competition held at Consolacion National High School on September 2, 2006. Bearing the theme, “Moving up from underground (School and Backyard) to mainstream economy,” the said activity was participated in by the different secondary schools coming from the municipality of Consolacion.

          Among the seventeen (17) champions of the said competition, nine (9) students came from Consolacion National High School and the rest came from other barangay schools. These students were Prince Lee Balaba-Pineapple pie making, Joe-rey Pajes- Birthday Cake Making, Jovanni Tomongha-Asexual Propagation, Virgel Hayag-Project Proposal for Animal Production, Mark Emmanuel Cuadra-AM Radio Assembly, Razel Ermac-Power Point Presentation, Ana Marie Sabior-Spreadsheet using MS Excel, Jacel Seno-Newsletter using MS Publisher, and Axel Alterado-Homepage Development using MS Frontpage.

          Other winners were Glenda Mar-ICT Assisted project proposal, Alan Ursal Jr.-Dish Gardening both from Tayud National High School, Jaffy Abamonga-Photographic Printing Screen Preparation & T-shirt printing from Garing National High School, Neil Monteroyo-Creative Hairstyle & Facial Make-up, Estrelle Rose Maway-Table Setting, Mashery Ferres-Bangus Deboning were all from Tugbongan National High School.

Jeneveves Camangyan and Francis John Roa both coming from Tugbongan National High School will represent the municipality of Consolacion in the Mr. & Ms. STEP Competition.

The said activity serves as an elimination and preparation for the coming Division STEP Skills Competition to be held on September 21-23, 2006 at Daanbantayan, Cebu.
